BioMy name is Kaitlin Elizabeth Ugolik and I'm a sophomore at Elon University in Elon, NC :D
I love my school and I love my state. Elon is the perfect school for me..and to think I didn't even want to go there when I got in ;)
I'm double majoring in Journalism and International Studies
North Carolina has been my home for 10 years and hopefully will be for awhile to come. There is so much to do here if you just look for it, and I guess I'm just biased because it's where I've had the most wonderful experiences of my life.
I rode horses for about 3 years, until it got too expensive. I hope to have a horse again when I get out of college. They're beautiful animals with such personality :)
I'm planning on being in Europe for about six months out of next year, mostly in Germany :D
I love to cook, write, travel, try new things, listen to music and spend time with my family.
I happily share my life with Reid Morgan Phillips ♥
I work at Lowes Foods as a floor supervisor. It's not the best job but I make enough money and it keeps me busy in the summer. And the people I work with aren't bad ;)
Ishmael by Daniel Quinn changed my life, and the sequel, My Ishmael did even more. I think everyone should read it. I also love to read Chuck Palahniuk.
I'm a hardcore supporter of Invisible Children, an organization created to help kids in Uganda who are in constant danger of being abducted and forced to become child soldiers.
I realize there are a lot of problems with the world, but I have come to peace with the fact that I cannot save it by myself. So, I choose my projects and work hard on them.
